Love this bar! It is satisfying, nutritious and does not feel heavy. I am a teacher, I often eat half of one at morning recess, and the other half in the afternoon recess. It replenishes me with the energy needed to be present for all the kiddos' needs; it also gives me the feeling that I had a chance to take a bit of a break to take care of me!

I used Hornby Island bars during my border to border ski in Finland this winter. A cross country ski event from the Russian border to the Swedish border. A total distance of 420 kilometres. Hornby Island bars provided sustained energy, they are easy to eat, even in cold temperatures and they are delicious.

I first came across these delicious bars at the Comox Valley Farmer's Market while visiting the island on a girl's weekend. I feel in love! I have a nut sensitivity so I love that these have no nuts. I used to eat lots of pumpkin seed butter in the past and then I forgot about it. When I discovered this bar, I remembered all the reasons why I love the taste of pumpkin seed. Really unique and lighter flavour that is great to have as a staple.
